Patriots create athletic shoe made from Super Bowl LI game balls

This shoe was made for walking — all over the Atlanta Falcons.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft and Nike teamed up to create an athletic shoe made entirely from Super Bowl LI game balls.

The “one-of-a-kind shoe uniquely pays homage to the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history,” wrote The Hall at Patriot Place, which is dedicated to collecting and displaying memorabilia and exhibits.

Ahead of Sunday night’s rematch against the Atlanta Falcons, the shoe will be on display at the Hall for public viewing on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and again on Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. With paid admission to the Patriots ProShop, fans can take a gander at the footgear from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday as well.

Constructed in Beaverton, Oregon, the shoe’s tongue is made from the laces of game balls from the biggest Super Bowl rally in history.
