Feats of clay

Nearly 70 ceramicists will present their work at the Ceramics Program, Office for the Arts at Harvard’s annual Holiday Show and Sale at the school’s studio in the Barry’s Corner neighborhood of Allston from Dec. 7-10. Pieces by Harvard students, staff, and faculty, as well as other artists include functional and decorative bowls, platters, pitchers, vases, teapots, mugs, and more in styles ranging from rustic, to fanciful, to sleek. Sculptures, jewelry, and wall hangings make a showing as well. You may be so inspired, you’ll sign up for a class yourself. 224 Western Ave., Allston, 617-495-8680, ofa.fas.harvard.edu/ceramics
