Tony Maws will host a Passover cooking tutorial.

Is your brisket tough? Is your matzo mealy? Prepare for Passover with The Kirkland Tap & Trotter and Craigie on Main chef Tony Maws, who grew up eating traditional Ashkenazi dishes in his grandmother’s kitchen. He’ll host a Passover cooking tutorial at Craigie on Main (853 Main St., Cambridge) on Saturday, March 24, fresh off a culinary trip to Israel. This mellow, chatty class focuses on Israeli delicacies; Maws teaches guests how to incorporate Middle Eastern spices, fruits, and grains into classic Passover dishes. Yes, wine pairings are also discussed. After class, feast with your new friends on a three-course, family-style lunch prepared by Maws, spotlighting his favorite foods with Israeli twists. Tickets for the three-hour class and lunch, with wine, are $150 at Arrive hungry at 10 a.m.
