Are Beyonce and Jay Z going on a joint tour this summer? For the moment, that’s unclear.
This morning, according to Variety, Ticketmaster and Queen Bey’s Facebook page both briefly announced a tour, one that looked to kick off July 30 in Philadelphia.
The name of the tour? “On the Run 2.”
But then, as quickly as it appeared, the announcement -- if that’s what it was -- was gone.
Then again, maybe today isn’t the perfect day for a tour announcement.
After all, the dynamic duo reportedly held an Oscars afterparty at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles Sunday night. The guest of honor? Their close friend, Mary J. Blige, who landed two Oscar nominations -- best supporting actress and best original song -- for “Mudbound.”
