When you can’t buy it, make it. That was the mindset of now husband and wife, Faleesha and Joseph Gaylord, back in 2014 when they failed to find the furnishings they needed to make their wedding Pinterest perfect. As with many burgeoning businesses, friends started to inquire about their handiwork, and Boston Rustic Wedding Rentals was born. The Hopkinton-based company, which counts designers, artisans, carpenters, and an engineer on the team, fabricate farmhouse-style furniture and decor for rent or sale. A Boston Rustic pop-up at Chestnut Hill Square offers the company’s coveted pieces closer to the city, along with gorgeous blooms and floral arranging workshops, now through summer.
