As is the case with many a small business, the prototype for the newest product from Boston-based Sh*t That I Knit grew out of a personal endeavor. Looking to gift her bridesmaids a keepsake they would use, founder and chief knitting officer, Christina Fagan, commissioned her team of Peruvian knitters to create custom wraps. The Pardy wrap, named after her husband, Chris Pardy, was an instant hit. Fagan says, “I launched the first batch on Instagram during our mini-moon in Tulum, and they sold out in 30 minutes!” The 100 percent Alpaca wool wrap, which marks the company’s debut into non-winter wear, is the perfect piece to combat chilly summer nights.
