    Tea for you

    Tea Forté

Concord-based tea brand Tea Forté was founded by a Rhode Island School of Design graduate, Peter Hewitt, and it shows. Known for its sculptural pyramid-shaped nylon bag filled with whole tea leaves, the company has opened a permanent location following a well-received pop-up shop last fall. The 1,437-square-foot space, designed by New York firm O’Neill Langan Architects, gorgeously showcases the full line of 93 teas, complete with an illuminated Tea Discovery Table so customers can see and smell the collection. There’s also a lounge area with a fireplace, and contemporary gifts. While they don’t brew full cups for sale, there is plenty of opportunity to taste.
