Like most orange netting draped on a building, the soaring display in the entrance of the Prudential Center is meant to convey caution. Boston-based artist Stephanie Cardon created the installation, called “Unless,” out of 3,400-square-feet of repurposed neon orange and brilliant blue construction debris netting. And she’s woven a message into the material — text from Pope Francis’s 2015 Encyclical letter, which urges swift and unified global action towards climate justice. Cardon and Now + There invite the public to be part of the art before it comes down, with free Make Your Own Reusable Tote Bag sessions on Dec. 17-19, from 4 p.m to 7 p.m. at Prudential Center, 800 Boylston St., Boston, 617-236-3100, prudentialcenter.com
