Former Red Sox slugger David Ortiz has put his home in Weston up for sale.

The 8,100-square-foot house at 16 Driftwood Lane is listed at $6.3 million. It has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and a custom-built bar and theater space in the basement. There’s also a three-car garage, an in-ground pool, and a jacuzzi.

“It’s a great space and a great community,” said the listing agent, Paul Colleary of Dream Realty. “They found a lot of security and privacy out there.”

Colleary said Big Papi is looking to downsize, and the property was put on the market Monday.

The house, which was finished in 2007, sits on 2 acres and has a large driveway with plenty of space for parking.

“The backyard is also amazing,” Colleary said. “It’s set up well for entertaining.”

Another highlight of Big Papi’s home is the basement, which features a brick wall that was designed to look like the brick parts of Fenway Park.

“Architects from Fenway Park worked with Tiffany to design the space in the basement,” said Colleary. “The bar was made from reclaimed wood from a bowling alley at Fenway Park.”

In the listing, the property is described as a “gorgeous Adirondack style home fit for an All Star.”

“Priceless opportunity to live in the home of one of Boston’s most loved sports legends, including a custom-built bar/theatre space in the basement that was built with input from Fenway architects and includes actual materials from our City’s beloved Fenway Park,” the listing states. “Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind home set on over 2 acres in this prestigious community just 20 minutes from Boston.”
