Recent bird sightings on Cape Cod (as of Feb. 5) as reported to the Massachusetts Audubon Society.
A Pacific loon was on Salt Pond in Falmouth.
The single king eiders by the railroad bridge in Bourne and at the Sandwich marina both continued.
Birds at Race Point in Provincetown included a Pacific loon, 6 common murres, a thick-billed murre, 106 razorbills, a black guillemot, and 8 Iceland gulls.
Walker Conservation Area in Wellfleet hosted a yellow-breasted chat, 17 purple finches, 9 red crossbills, 18 pine siskins, and a gray catbird.
Sightings from Shawme Pond in Sandwich included a Northern shoveler, a red-shouldered hawk, and a yellow-bellied sapsucker.
Other sightings included 2 blue-winged teal at Mill Pond in West Barnstable; a great egret in Yarmouth; a black-headed gull at West Dennis Beach; a rusty blackbird in Harwich Port; an orange-crowned warbler in Brewster; single yellow-bellied sapsuckers in Sandwich and at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary; and at least 17 evening grosbeaks and 15 red crossbills in North Wellfleet.
