It’s a valid summertime question: Why go to the islands when you could cross the bridge to the Seaport instead? Nantucket’s Cisco Brewers launches a pop-up Island Vibes beer garden next to the neighborhood’s District Hall (65 Northern Ave.) beginning in mid-May, with live music and plenty of booze — and no ferry fee.
It’s the second season for Cisco’s pop-up. This year’s version is bigger, with two more bars and cocktails made with Nantucket Vineyard wines. Sip rosé, Crantucket Brut IPA, small-batch ciders, and the ever-popular Whale’s Tale Pale Ale. Pair your tipples with tacos from South Boston’s Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar and other food truck delicacies to be announced soon. Children (two- and four-legged) are welcome.
