www.eatyourbooks.com This cookbook site allows members to enter their own cookbooks into a searchable recipe index. Membership is free for up to five books, and $2.10 a month after that. The site, founded by two sisters (one based near Boston), was started to help people save time finding recipes in books they already own or magazines or blogs they already read.

www.outofmilk.com A free mobile app designed to help keep track of grocery lists, pantry inventory, and to-do lists. Any family member can add to the grocery or pantry lists.
