Vacu Vin adds color to its stopper palette

Bright colors are in this summer, and Vacu Vin has just what you need to dress up your unfinished bottles of wine. Their reusable vacuum seal corks come in a cheerful color palette ($8.50 to $10 for a 3-pack). The company suggests using them to “label” your wine: turquoise for whites, pink for roses, and purple for reds. Pop in the stopper, remove the excess air with the Wine Saver vacuum pump ($9.99 to $12.95 with one gray stopper) to reduce oxidation, and you’ll have a few more days to enjoy that bottle. Savor a glass or two of wine with your dinner on the patio, and save the rest for another night. Available at Kitchenwares, 215 Newbury St., Boston, 857-366-4237; Tags Hardware, 29 White St., Cambridge, 617-868-7711; The Concord Shop, 13 Walden St., Concord, 978-371-2286; and Sur la Table locations.
