A representative for 20-year-old North End pizzeria Ernesto’s tells me that a new location at Somerville’s Assembly Row (300 Grand Union Blvd.) is in the works. Other marquee restaurants like Legal Sea Foods and Papagayo Mexican Kitchen & Tequila Bar will also open at the dining-and-retail complex this spring (remember spring?). Ernesto’s is known for quarter-size-of-a-pie slices.

Sullivan’s seasonal hot dog stand in Southie (2080 William J. Day Blvd., Castle Island) has thrown caution to the (frigid) wind and opened already, meaning that spring has unofficially arrived. Breakfast starts at 8:30 a.m., with the full menu launching at 10:30 a.m. daily.

It was just a matter of time, really. Wahlburgers, the Hingham burger restaurant run by celebrity brothers Mark, Paul, and Donnie Wahlberg, will open a second location at the MarketStreet retail complex in Lynnfield (600 Market St. at King Rail Drive), a rep confirms. They also announced the opening on their A&E reality series, also called “Wahlburgers.” MarketStreet is now home to Legal C Bar, Kings, and Davio’s.

Chef Kristen Kish — who won “Top Chef” season 10 — is leaving her coveted chef de cuisine post at Barbara Lynch’s swanky Menton in Fort Point to pursue other opportunities. Scott Jones, who’s now the chef de cuisine at Lynch’s flagship, No. 9 Park, will replace her. Kish became chef de cuisine at Menton in June 2013. But she’s not leaving town. “I just bought a condo,” she told me. “Boston is my home.” Ultimately, she hopes to open her own fine dining restaurant.
