These are nothing to look at, but the combination of sweet dates with salty nuts is pretty wonderful.
|24||Israeli or medjool dates|
|48||Marcona almonds or other salted roasted skinned almond|
|Confectioners' sugar (for sprinkling)|
1. With a small knife, make a vertical slit down one side of the dates. Remove the pit and stuff with 2 almonds. Close the opening by pressing it with your fingers. Continue with the remaining dates and almonds
2. Arrange the dates on a plate and sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
