Kristen Rummel and her husband, Rory Hanlon, both 26, started their Somerville-based company, Honeycomb Creamery, in June and craft ice cream using the rich milk of Jersey cows from Mapleline Farm in Hadley. The couple sells creative and seasonal flavors, such as maple chai, cold-brew coffee-chip, and Mexican hot chocolate, at farmers’ markets and local events. If you can’t find them, they will find you. Cambridge and Somerville residents are in luck. The two will deliver pints to their doors daily from 6 p.m. to midnight within 45 minutes of an online order ($10 a pint, plus $3 delivery charge). For eight other area locations, including Allston, Brookline, Medford, and Everett, Honeycomb delivers daily from 6 p.m. to midnight with 24-hour notice on the website ($10 a pint, plus $3 delivery fee). A three-month pint-club subscription is also available (two pints each month for $50, four pints for $110, plus $3 delivery charge). If you live outside of Cambridge and Somerville, the service may not eliminate ice cream runs to satisfy an immediate craving. The pint club will. www.honeycombcreamery.com ANN TRIEGER KURLAND
