Former Berklee College of Music students Amy Heidemann and Nick Louis Noonan (of Karmin) and Park Jae-sang (better known as Psy) didn’t do much to boost the ratings of the American Music Awards Sunday night. Even with Justin Bieber on the bill, the program had its lowest viewership ever — just 9.5 million, down from 12 million in 2011. Still, that means more than 9 million people got to watch Psy perform his hit, “Gangnam Style,” with MC Hammer . Psy studied at Berklee between 1997 and 2000.
