Street Dogs have a day

The Street Dogs played a short but rousing set Thursday at the offices of at the Globe. (The band was promoting its two shows at the Paradise.) The Street Dogs are fronted by Dorchester native Mike McColgan (center), a former Globe pressman who also used to be the lead singer of the Dropkick Murphys. Before Thursday’s show, McColgan visited his former co-workers, who bestowed on him the status of “Honorary Lifetime Member of Pressmen’s Union Local 3, International Brotherhood of Teamsters.”
