Boston Globe column sets Texans’ star atwitter

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster apparently didn’t like what Globe sports columnist Dan Shaughnessy wrote Sunday about the Patriots’ next opponent. In case you missed it, Shaughnessy wrote in part: “The planets are aligned and the tomato cans are in place. The fraudulent Houston Texans are the only team standing between the New England Patriots and a trip to the AFC Championship game. All the Patriots have to do is beat the terrible Texans.” It used to be that an opposing coach would incite their team by posting that column on a bulletin board in the locker room. Foster did one better: The star running back made the column his Twitter profile photo. (He has nearly 337,000 followers on Twitter.) Shaughnessy took note. “hey @arianfoster,” he tweeted, “Loving the avatar. Bring your A game to Foxboro on Sunday.”
