Imagine magazine, a publication that covers the New England film industry, had its “Imaginnaire” gala at the Lenox Hotel on Tuesday night. Honorees included writer and producer Laura Bernieri, who worked on “The Love Guide” and “Next Stop Wonderland”; voice-over artist Will Lyman, who’s narrated “Frontline” (and can be heard in Dos Equis commercials); jack-of-all-trades Duncan Putney, who writes, directs, and has a bit part in the upcoming Ryan Reynolds blockbuster “R.I.P.D.”; New Hampshire Production Coalition president Timothy Egan; and writer and director John Stimpson, who’s made a list of local projects, including the Lifetime movie “Sexting in Suburbia.” Guests at the event included familiar industry faces such as Belmont World Film Festival director Ellen Gitelman; Denise Widman of the Boston Jewish Film Festival; “The Fighter” actresses Melissa McMeekin and Erica McDermott; and “On Golden Pond” Oscar winner Ernest Thompson.
