Casting call for ’70s movie to be shot around Boston

Boston Casting’s calls for talent keep getting weirder — and more specific. On Tuesday, the local casting firm put out a call for “slim/hairy Burt Reynolds types; pale, hairy, out of shape men in swimsuits; women who resemble Queen Latifah; and a mom with 6 mo. old twins” for a ’70s movie that will be shot around Boston. If you fit any of those descriptions and want to be in a feature film, e-mail a photo and contact information to bostoncasting extras2013@gmail.com. We assume this call is for the soon-to-be-locally-shotDavid O. Russell movie starring Bradley Cooper, Christian Bale, Amy Adams, and Jennifer Lawrence. That one is based on the late ’70s Abscam scandal.
