    Jail time for Bobby Brown

Being Bobby Brown isn’t getting any easier. A judge has ordered the
    Roxbury-bred R&B singer to serve
55 days in jail after his second drunken driving conviction in a year. A spokesman for the Los Angeles city attorney told reporters it’s a stiff sentence because Brown’s driver’s license was suspended after he pleaded no contest to an earlier charge of driving under the influence. The judge imposed 10 days in jail for the drunken driving offense, 10 days for the suspended license conviction, and
35 days for the probation violation. Brown, 44, was ordered to attend at least three Alcoholics Anonymous sessions each week until he reports to the LA County Jail March 20. The New Edition singer, who was married to Whitney Houston for 14 years before they divorced in 2007, has long struggled with sobriety. He released a solo CD, “Masterpiece,” last summer.
