The Painted Burro celebrated its first anniversary in Davis Square on Tuesday night. The evening, billed as “Cinco De Marzo,” featured plenty of margaritas and a live mariachi band. Revelers included Somerville residents Jane Cargill, Ann Stecker, and Julie Hunt. The restaurant plans to open a second location in Downtown Crossing.
