Bruins Milan Lucic and Andrew Ference attended a screening of “Life
According to Sam”
at the Revere Hotel’s Theatre 1 over the weekend. The documentary is about Massachusetts doctors Leslie Gordon and Scott Berns, who found out in 1998 that their young son Sam had progeria, a progressive aging disorder. The Bruins and Sam are longtime friends, as the players have supported progeria research, and Sam is a loyal supporter of the team. “Life According to Sam” premieres on HBO this fall.
