Jennifer Garner swoons at pictures of Affleck

Jennifer Garner (Mrs. Ben Affleck) tries not to look at reviews of the outfits she wears because, inevitably, someone isn’t going to like one. ‘‘It’s not good for my self-esteem,’’ she said Wednesday while in New York to open the Neutrogena Sun Summit. The exception was after the Oscars last month. Garner’s violet-colored, custom-made Gucci gown was a winner — but that wasn’t what she was looking for after her husband’s film ‘‘Argo’’ won best picture. ‘‘I reveled in all those good pictures of him,’’ she said. Bieber vents on Instagram

Justin Bieber has taken to Instagram to unload frustration over ‘‘countless lies’’ being circulated about him. In a passionate post Thursday, Bieber wrote that he’s ‘‘tired of all the countless lies in the press right now,’’ denying rumors that he’s going to rehab. Bieber railed against those he perceives as against him, writing, ‘‘I’m 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning.’’ (AP)

Olbermann dispute settled

Keith Olbermann and Current TV say they’ve settled their dispute nearly a year after Olbermann was fired by the network and responded with a $50 million lawsuit. Both parties say in a Wednesday statement that the terms of the settlement are confidential. (AP)
