Marstons Mills singer Siobhan Magnus and her bandmates in Doubtful Guest have met their $20,000 Kickstarter goal. Magnus, who was a finalist on the ninth season of “American Idol” (and recently appeared in the Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Day parade) announced last year that she’d be fronting Doubtful Guest — a ’90s supergroup featuring members of Third Eye Blind, Everclear, Godsmack, and Candlebox. The group launched its Kickstarter page for tour funding in February, and met its goal just before its Sunday deadline. According to the site, the group had 201 backers who pledged more than $23,000. Magnus tweeted to her more than 15,000 followers on Sunday: “Thank you to everyone who participated in our Kickstarter campaign . . . it’s all happening bc of YOU! Long Live #90s !!” (For the record, Magnus was born in 1990.)
