Pats players Rob Gronkowski and Dane Fletcher, Bruins Tuukka Rask and Shawn Thornton, Stella chef Evan Deluty, rapper/actor Slaine, and the Celtics dancers all joined WAAF morning man Greg Hill at a fund-raiser this week for the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. Organized by NetApp and Echostor, the benefit for the children’s cancer charity was held at Howl at the Moon. . . . Boston University alum Jason Alexander spoke at Harvard this week as part of the Office for the Arts’s “Learning From Performers” series. The actor talked about the screen test that got him the role of George Costanza in hit sitcom “Seinfeld.” “They gave me a bunch of lines, and I delivered them like Woody Allen, with glasses on,” he explained. “I did it with a thick New York accent, which they had beaten out of me at BU. When I got hired for the part, they said, ‘You’re great — but a little less Woody Allen, please.’” Friday, Alexander took a tour of the Brandeis campus and ran into fellow “Seinfeld” alum Larry David, who was walking around with his daughter. “Worlds are colliding!” Alexander tweeted, making a reference to the “Seinfeld” episode”Worlds Collide.” “Bumped into my man, Larry David with his lovely daughter as we toured Brandeis today. Serenity Now.”
