A shout-out to Cambridge writer Gish Jen , who’ll be one of the judges for next fall’s National Book Awards. Jen, an acclaimed novelist who just published her first work of nonfiction, “Tiger Writing,” joins author Charles Baxter , Seattle-based bookseller Rick Simonson, author René Steinke, and New York Times writer Charles McGrath, previously editor of the Book Review, on the panel of judges.
