Duke Robillard is joining Bob Dylan’s band

When Bob Dylan introduces his band at the Tsongas Center Tuesday, we’re guessing his guitarist will get a big hand. That’s because Duke Robillard, a Rhode Island native who’s well known around these parts as the founder of Roomful of Blues, has replaced Charlie Sexton in Dylan’s band. Robillard, 64, who played with The Fabulous Thunderbirds for a few years, has also recorded with former J. Geils Band guitarist Jay Geils.
