Weezer: In the Natick Mall

Weezer, the rock act led by former Harvard student Rivers Cuomo, is apparently playing the opening of the Microsoft store at the Natick Mall on June 8. The band confirmed the gig via Twitter on Thursday. Weezer has apparently played a list of gigs for the computer company over the past year, including one in Christiana, Del., which, in our opinion, has nothing on Natick. Worth mentioning is that the band had a song on its 2009 album, “Raditude,” called “In the Mall.” We expect Cuomo to play that one.
