Mia Farrow shows support for Boston

We liked Mia Farrow before, but we’re big fans of the actress/activist now. Why? Because Woody Allen ’s ex showed up at the TIME 100 gala wearing a Red Sox T-shirt under her blue blazer. (The party celebrates the magazine’s annual — and arbitrary — list of the world’s most influential people.) Of her decidedly unstylish look, Farrow said this: “We’re all with Boston. It’s been a harrowing week for the city, so if I’m going to a party during this horrific week, I just decided to wear something in solidarity with [Bostonians] instead of something more chic.” Right on. This year’s list includes the likes of Jay-Z , Christina Aguilera , Jennifer Lawrence , Cambridge native Mindy Kaling , and “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston , who’s coming to town to play Lyndon Johnson in the ART’s production of “All the Way.” Also on the eclectic list are historian Doris Kearns Goodwin , “Girls” star Lena Dunham , Instagram cofounder Kevin Systrom , soccer star Mario Balotelli , and AIDS researchers Hannah Gay, Deborah Persaud, and Katherine Luzuriaga , an immunologist at
