In case you missed it last week, Universal has released a trailer for the action movie “R.I.P.D.,” which was filmed in Boston in 2011. The sci-fi comedy stars Ryan Reynolds (far right) and Jeff Bridges (near right) as deceased cops who fight bad ghosts (think “Men in Black” — but with Bridges as your Tommy Lee Jones ). Based on what we’ve seen in the clips, Boston looks great in the film, which features Charlestown, the Financial District, and plenty of local skyline. “R.I.P.D.” will be released in July.
