    New baby for actress Jennifer Love Hewitt

    Jennifer Love Hewitt (above) and Brian Hallisay, who costar on Lifetime’s ‘‘The Client List,’’ are expecting their first child. In a statement released Tuesday by Hewitt’s publicist, the couple said: ‘‘This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together.’’ . . . And Kate Winslet is going to be a mom again. A representative for the 37-year-old Oscar winner confirms Winslet and husband Ned Rocknroll are expecting a child.

    Dance awards presented

    The Tonys aren’t until Sunday, but when it comes to achievement in dance, ‘‘Pippin’’ and ‘‘Motown the Musical’’ are already at the head of the pack. Dancers and choreographers from the two shows won Fred and Adele Astaire Awards Monday night for their achievement this Broadway season. From ‘‘Pippin,’’ the Diane Paulus-directed musical revival that first appeared at the ART in Cambridge, Charlotte d’Amboise took the trophy for best female dancer in her role as Fastrada, Pippin’s scheming (and high-kicking) mother-in-law.

    ‘Anchorman’ exhibit

    The Newseum in Washington is poking some fun at TV anchors with a new exhibit about the 2004 comedy ‘‘Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy’’ starring Will Ferrell. The Newseum announced plans Tuesday for ‘‘Anchorman: The Exhibit’’ to be created with Paramount Pictures. It’s scheduled to open Nov. 14 with props, costumes, and footage from the film, including Burgundy’s jazz flute and a mock anchor desk. The exhibit would open just before the release of the sequel, ‘‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,’’ in December.

    Tornado tribute at CMTs


    Carrie Underwood will pay tribute to the victims of the recent deadly tornadoes in Oklahoma when she appears at the CMT Music Awards. Underwood will perform her new single, ‘‘See You Again,’’ recasting it as a somber memorial with the aid of two dozen choir members from Nashville’s Christ Church. ‘‘The choir, I’ve never done that before and they just kind of take it to a whole ethereal place,’’ Underwood said Monday night following rehearsal.
