Why was Robert Kraft hanging out with Jay-Z in New York the other night? Turns out the Patriots owner was in town to give the keynote address at an Ernst & Young event, and afterward he and galpal Ricki Lander dropped by the 10th anniversary party for the rapper’s 40/40 Club. Also celebrating were Jay-Z’s wife, Beyoncé, Geno Smith, T.I., Robinson Cano, Amare Stoudemire, Memphis Bleek, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Trae Tha Truth, Busta Rhymes, and Victor Cruz. With Jay-Z getting into the agent business — his company is called Roc Nation Sports — there’s a strong chance he and Kraft will be haggling over player contracts in the coming years.
