Sandra Bullock brings ‘The Heat’ to Berlin

FABRIZIO BENSCH/Reuters

It seems unfair for anyone to see the local movie “The Heat” before it screens in Boston, where it was filmed last year. Alas, director Paul Feig and one of the stars of the comedy, Sandra Bullock (above), brought the movie to Berlin on Tuesday. In Germany, the movie is called “Taffe Madels,” which we believe translates to “Tough Girls.” Perhaps that’s a more fitting title for the buddy cop comedy which costars a brash, trash-talking Melissa McCarthy. It opens here on June 28.
