Michael Beach gets Independent Spirit Award

Actor Michael Beach, who hails from Roxbury, was back in Boston on Thursday night to accept the Independent Spirit Award from the Roxbury International Film Festival. Beach (right), who’s been on TV shows such as “Third Watch” and “Sons of Anarchy,” and in indie films such as “Things Never Said,” visited the Museum of Fine Arts to screen “Said” with his costar and fellow Massachusetts native Elimu Nelson (left), who’s now on “House of Lies.” The film festival continues through Sunday.
