Local soprano Kim Lamoureux (right) was one of the singers who performed at the Milky Way in Jamaica Plain on Wednesday night as part of Opera on Tap, a national program that aims to make opera more accessible. The theme of the night was James Bond, so singers picked songs with dramatic content “in tongues ranging from the Queen’s English to Russian,” they explained. Other performers included Marie McCarville, who’s sung with the Boston Lyric Opera and the Cape Cod Opera, and Desiree Maira, whose resume includes the Boston Opera Collaborative and MetroWest Opera.
