Rushdie, dePaola to speak at Boston Book Festival


The Boston Book Festival, to be held Oct. 17-19, has announced its keynote speakers. Salman Rushdie, author of “Joseph Anton: A Memoir,” “The Satanic Verses,” and other books, will be in town to speak on Friday night. And Tomie dePaola, author and illustrator of “Strega Nona” and hundreds more children’s books, will be the Kids’ Keynote speaker on Saturday.
