As local hopefuls for “The Million Dollar Quiz” waited with their applications at Tequila Rain, senior casting producer Zach Johnson whipped the line into a frenzy.

Locals gathered at Tequila Rain on Wednesday to audition for a spot on the new NBC game show “The Million Second Quiz.” Ryan Seacrest is set to host the
program, which involves contestants competing for $10 million by answering trivia questions, and an app that allows viewers to play at home.
