Judging from the Patriots’ poor performance against the Lions the other night, the team sure could use a healthy Rob Gronkowski. But the big guy is still putting a smile on people’s faces while he recovers from back surgery. On behalf of his family’s Gronk Nation Youth Foundation, the Pats pass catcher and father, Gordy, donated $45,000 worth of football equipment to the Brockton Junior Boxers, a Pop Warner football team in the City of Champions. The donation guarantees the team, formed in 2005, will be playing for many years to come.
