The Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame held a luncheon Thursday to honor some of the industry’s biggest names, none more notable than Chet Curtis. The veteran TV newsman, who’s battling pancreatic cancer, received an emotional standing ovation from a ballroom packed with friends, family, and admirers. Others feted at the Boston Marriott Quincy included Garry Armstrong, Jim Britt, Jack Campbell, Ken Carberry, Ron Della Chiesa, Claire Crawford, Alan Dary, Richard Kaye, David Mugar, Loren Owens, Wally Brine, Walt Sanders, and Susan Wornick.
