Candy Spelling (left) was at Boston University over the weekend to open “Aaron Spelling: A Retrospective of Prime Time Success,” a new exhibition at the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center honoring the life and career of her late husband, TV producer Aaron Spelling. (The Gotlieb Center is the home of Aaron Spelling’s personal archive, as it is for countless other writers, actors, journalists, and others.) Spelling’s TV credits include “The Mod Squad,” “The Rookies,” “Charlie’s Angels,” and “Beverly Hills 90210,” which starred his daughter Tori .
