Major celebration planned for Rev. Billy Graham’s 95th

Rev. Graham birthday

A major celebration is planned next month for the 95th birthday of the Rev. Billy Graham. Graham’s son Franklin said Tuesday that between 600 and 700 people have been invited to the Nov. 7, party in Asheville, N.C. The Rev. Franklin Graham says among the invitees are former President Bill Clinton, former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, and real estate mogul Donald Trump. The elder Graham will attend, but won’t give a speech. (AP)

No Kasem intervention

A judge said he did not see an urgent need to intervene in the affairs of Casey Kasem after a court-appointed attorney told him Tuesday the ailing radio host is receiving adequate medical care for advanced Parkinson’s disease. Attorney Samuel Ingham told Judge Roy Paul that he had visited Kasem and did not see an immediate need for a conservatorship. (AP)
