Boston Children’s Hospital CEO Sandra Fenwick and Dr. Susan Briggs, a trauma surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital, were honored at the Anti-Defamation League’s Women of Valor event last week at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. Also there were Boston’s first lady, Angela Menino, her daughter Susan Menino Fenton, AG Martha Coakley, MGH president Peter Slavin, and Esta Epstein. . . . Boston’s oenophiles — those are connoisseurs of wine — gathered at the ICA Friday to celebrate Uncorked 8, the museum’s annual wine dinner and fund-raiser. Chef Ming Tsai was joined by ICA director Jill Medvedow, event chairs Robert Davoli and Eileen McDonagh, and master of wine Bill Nesto. . . . The Celtics raised more than $800,000 for children’s charities at their annual Shamrock Gala, which was emceed by Grantland.com’s Bill Simmons. . . . Bruin Milan Lucic and wife Brittany had lunch over the weekend at Salvatore’s Restaurant in the Theatre District. . . . The cast and crew of “The Forger,” which stars John Travolta and Christopher Plummer, were filming Friday at a house in Chelsea.
