Super Dog owner dies unexpectedly

Our sympathies go out to the family of Gregg Gale, chef and owner of Boston Super Dog, the food truck in Roxbury that sells the most delicious hot dogs. Gale died unexpectedly last week. A few years ago, Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett, who’s one of the richest people in the world, stopped at the then Boston Speed Dog and enjoyed his meal so much he told Gale he wanted to buy the truck. Afterward, we talked to Gale about his brush with fame and fortune. “[Buffett] said he wanted to buy the place, and I told him, ‘You don’t have enough money.’ ”
