Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr break up

The marriage of actor Orlando Bloom and model Miranda Kerr has ended — even as Bloom tackles one of the most romantic roles in history, Romeo. Publicist Robin Baum released a joint statement Friday that said Kerr and Bloom — two of the most beautiful people on the planet — ‘‘have been amicably separated for the past few months.’’ The 36-year-old actor, who starred in ‘‘The Lord of the Rings’’ and ‘‘Pirates of the Caribbean’’ films, and the 30-year-old supermodel were married in 2010. They have a 2½-year-old son, Flynn.

Ringo Starr’s search for six teens he photographed during the Beatles’ first trip to America in 1964 may be over. A California man says they’re students from Fair Lawn High School in New Jersey. Starr had guessed he snapped the photo, which appears in his new book, ‘‘Photograph,’’ in Miami. But Charlie Schwartz tells The Record newspaper he and five classmates were turned away after going to Kennedy Airport to see the Fab Four. Schwartz says they were returning home on a New York highway when they saw a limousine and the Beatles inside. Schwartz says Ringo rolled down the window and started snapping pictures. The retired bartender says it all seems surreal.
