Ben Affleck ’s wife, Jennifer Garner , wore a fake beard in honor of the Red Sox during her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Tuesday. She told Kimmel that the World Series is all that matters in her house right now. “I don’t know if the kids are being fed,” she joked, adding later, “You can’t not fall for the Red Sox.” . . . Of course, not everybody falls for our home team. Apparently, musician Alan Jackson got booed during his show at Carnegie Hall on Monday night when he brought his bearded nephew onstage for a song and told him that he looked like a Red Sox player. Entertainment Weekly writer Mandi Bierly was in the audience for the performance and said that aside from the Red Sox joke, it was a very lovely bluegrass gig.
