Filmmaker and Martha’s Vineyarder Spike Lee (center) was the guest speaker at the annual ABCD Awards Gala at the Boston Marriott Copley Place on Friday night. The evening benefited ABCD’s mission to provide resources to low-income residents in Boston. Also at the event were Senator Elizabeth Warren (right), ABCD President John Drew (left), and Angie Miller, the Beverly singer who made it to the final three on the 12th season of “American Idol.” Miller performed during the festivities, as did the Spinners.
