Looks like Jamie McCourt has purchased some elegant new digs. The ex-wife of former Boston developer Frank McCourt has shelled out $11.25 million for a 22-acre estate in Rutherford, the heart of Northern California wine country, according to the Wall Street Journal. The sleek pad is just the latest big-ticket expenditure for the McCourts, who famously embarked on a costly and high-profile divorce and led the Los Angeles Dodgers into bankruptcy in 2011. In September, Frank McCourt, who sought to buy the Red Sox before settling on the Dodgers, donated $100 million to Georgetown University to fund a school of public policy in his name. Jamie McCourt, who reportedly accepted a $130 million divorce settlement, tells the WSJ that she plans to divide her time between Los Angeles and Napa.
