West End Johnnie’s was rockin’ the other night as several familiar faces gathered at the Portland Street bar for a fund-raiser benefiting “The American Revolution,” producer Bill Lichtenstein’s documentary about the early days of WBCN-FM. The hootenanny’s who’s who included George McCann, David Hull, James Montgomery, Charlie Farren, and Barry Goodreau.
